Chris Lindsey

MARION, Va.

Chris Lindsey age 38, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021 at his home.

Chris was a friend to many and loved being outdoors. After his graduation from Virginia Tech, he was a field engineer on deep water oil platforms, and an HVAC Technician for Custom Air Heating & Cooling. Chris was a brilliant guy who was the happiest with a big diesel pick-up, shotgun, camouflage, or anything to do with trains. Chris will be missed by all his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his aunt, Ruth Hope Reeves; grandmothers, Callie Lindsey and Mozelle Tilson.

Chris is survived by his parents, Charles and Susan Lindsey of Marion, Va.; brother, Ernie Lindsey and wife, Sarah of Bend Ore.; nephew, Jack Lindsey; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and lots of wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor Daniel Hess officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
