Charles Wayne Hash

MARION, Va.

Charles Wayne Hash, age 65, passed away peacefully, Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center.

Charles was born September 11, 1956 and lived the majority of his life in Smyth County, Va.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ambrose and Jean Hash of Marion, Va.

Charles is survived by his District Three family; care provider family, Ashley Hairfield, Stacy Hairfield, and Alicia Shupe; residential staff; and special longtime friend, Daisey Maloyed.

A special thank you goes out to the staff and doctors at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center for the dedication and quality of care provided to Charles.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 28, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor Roger Hearl officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, Chilhowie, Va.
