Carol Sue Hutton age 70, passed away, Friday, April 10, 2026 at Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport Tn.

Carol Hutton embodied everything that is good in this world. She was the sweetest person you could know and love. To her family, Carol was the glue that kept them all together. She loved the Lord and while her health allowed was in church for every service. If you knew Carol, you knew that the song in her heart was just as pretty as the one she sang. She loved to sing. Carol was a loving wife, mom and mamaw to her grandchildren. She will be loved for life and always remembered.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Elizabeth Russell.

Carol is survived by her husband of 53 years, Bill Hutton of Marion, Va.; sons, Brandon Hutton and Brian Hutton (April) of Marion, Va.; sister, Kathy Sheets (Dexter) of Chilhowie, Va.; brother, Steve Russell (Melissa) of Saltville, Va.; grandchildren, Cameron, Carson, Caden Hutton and Brook Jarrett; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Debby Hayes and Joyce Blevins.

Family will receive friends, Wednesday April 15, 2026 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fraziers’ Seaver-Brown Chapel. Funeral Service will begin at 8 p.m. with Pastor Tim Boyette officiating. A Graveside service will be held Thursday, April 16 at 11 a.m. at Attoway Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:15 a.m. at Fraziers’ Seaver-Brown.
