April Boardwine Harrington age 48, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Bristol Regional Medical Center.

April was the most caring and sharing person. She would do anything for her Ty-Bug. April would do without so Tyler could have what he needed and wanted. She was a wonderful daughter, and was beautiful inside and out. April will be missed and loved to the moon and back by all her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Wanda “Nonnie” Hayes; paternal grandparents, Clarence and Virgie Boardwine; step-father, Raymond A. Howard.

April is survived by her son, Tyler Harrington and fiancée, Autumn Reeves of Marion, Va.; step-daughter, Kaylah Harrington of Wytheville, Va.; father, William Boardwine and wife, Wanda of Saltville, Va.; mother, Sue Howard of Marion, Va.; brother, Chad Boardwine and wife, Mindy of Springfield, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews; special companion, Oreo.

The family will receive friends Monday, November 20, 2023 from 12 until 1 p.m. at Fraziers’ Seaver-Brown Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Ryan Cox officiating. Burial will be private.
