Anne Surface

SUGAR GROVE, VIRGINIA: ANNE ANDERSON SURFACE, age 96, died Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Smyth County Community Hospital in Marion, Virginia. Anne is the last surviving child of Elizabeth and Frank Anderson and was a lifelong resident of Sugar Grove, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Surface. She is survived by one son, Terry Edward Surface of Sugar Grove, Virginia; one daughter-in-law, Judy Blevins Surface of Sugar Grove, Virginia; one granddaughter, Teri Lynn Surface of Sugar Grove, Virginia; several nieces, nephews and lifelong friend and neighbor, R. G. "Col" Shupe. Funeral Service will be held, Monday, February 23, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Billy Gwinn and Reverend Kenny Price officiating. Private burial will be held at Slemp Cemetery, Sugar Grove, Virginia. The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
