Allen Thompson age 63, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Allen Thompson; and granddaughter, Destiny Nicole Combs.

Allen is survived by his wife of 38 years, Debra Thompson; daughters, Teresa Sue Bell and Rose Marie Jones (Steven Jones); mother, Viola Thompson; sister, Christine Powers (Hugh); five grandchildren, Tyler Bell (Rachel), Amber Blevins (David), Brandon Combs (Megan), Danielle Bell (David) and Gracie Combs (Elijah); three great-grandchildren, Ava Blevins, Adrienne Blevins and Paisley Combs; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Testerman, James Testerman, Chris Testerman and Gary Testerman (Eddie); several nieces and nephews; and special companion, his dog Chloe.

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 7, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Ruritan Club, 272 Rocky Hollow Road, Atkins, Va., 24311.
