Allen F. Hoback II, age 60 passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026 at his home.

He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Franklin Hoback Sr.; and mother, Cecelia Carol Swecker Hoback.

Allen is survived by his wife of 18 years, Donita Lynn Pike Hoback of Wytheville, Va.; daughters, Jessica Erin Hoback of Wytheville, Va. and Mary Elizabeth Hoback of Rural Retreat, Va.; son, Daniel Allen Hoback; step-sons, John Davidson and Joseph Davidson, all of the home; sisters, Vanessa Jones (Tony) of Wytheville, Va. and Valerie Sisk of Austinville, Va.; grandchildren, Maci and Emily Davidson, Jacen and Mara Sigman, and Wesley and Allie Addair; several nieces and nephews and their families; special daughter-in-law, Charlie Davidson; special cousin, Chris Hoback (Carolyn).

At Allen’s request, there will be no services. Family and friends may visit at the home anytime.
