Agnes Peake

MARION, VIRGINIA: AGNES LOUISE PEAKE, age 76, widow of Charles S. Peake, passed away Friday, April 29, 2005 in Smyth County Community Hospital. She was a loving mother of six children. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe, Billy, and Eddie, one sister Mary Sue and one grandchild, Janet Marie Testerman. She is survived by three daughters, Mary Ann Collins of Marion, Virginia, Carol Sue Fields of Abingdon, Virginia and Lola Marie Peake of Greensburg, Indiana. Three sons and two daughters-in-law, Henry Peake, Mark Peake and wife Cindy and Robert Peake and wife Virginia all of Marion, Virginia. Four sisters, Nellie Heath and Nancy Tuggle both of Marion, Virginia, Francis McGhee of Saltville, Virginia and Doris Frye of Meadowview, Virginia. One brother, Allen Cahill of Glade Spring, Virginia. Eight grandchildren, Crystal, Kim, Kirstin, Tasha, Brandon, Joshua and Matthew. Three great grandchildren Summer Marie Peake, Ryan and Alex Henderson. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 1, 2005 at 2:00 p.m.at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev.Sam Slemp and Rev. Kenny Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
