ADWOLFE, Va.

Walter Lee Keen, age 51, passed away Monday, November 12, 2018 at his home.

He was born April 6, 1967 to the late Edward Shirl and Evelyn Goodwin Keen. Lee was loving husband, son, father, brother and good friend. He was a hard worker, and he loved his Lord. Lee will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Allen Keen; sisters, Margaret Wix and Bonnie Garett.

Lee is survived his wife, Valerie Keen; son, Shane Keen; step-son, Caleb Warner; sisters, Pat Beckner, Georgia McWilliams, Brenda Cole and husband, Ken, Sharon Keen, Stella Mullins and husband, Richard, Sarah Sheets and husband, Raymond, Elizabeth Compton and husband, Wayne; brothers, Alvin "Buckie" Keen and special friend, Crystal Call, Luther Keen and wife, Rita; several nieces, nephews and other family; special friend, Rose Propst; his special dog, Sadie; and many friends and loving neighbors.

My condolences to the Keen family. Lee was a person who had a heart of gold and a work ethic that was amazing. I'll always cherish the fun times we had growing up and will keep all the memories of our time in the neighborhood.The Lord definitely gained an angel. Spread your angel wings and fly my friend.

Lee, you were more than just a friend and a great neighbor you were family! Shianne and I thought the world of you! You always had an upbeat personality, hard worker and helped others no matter what you were going through! You had a never give up attitude!
