Teddy Darrell Hall, Sr.

MARION, Va. Teddy Darrell Hall, Sr., age 58, died Friday, October 7, 2016 at Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon, Va. Teddy has been in Smyth County his whole life. He was a loving husband, a great father, a hero to his children, a loving brother and a great friend. Teddy was an active volunteer and loved to coach kids football. He lived for his grandchildren and loved to take them fishing. He started Hall’s Pest Control 35 years ago and never met a stranger. He was easy going and loved to laugh and make others laugh. Teddy was a kind and generous man. He will be missed by his family, community, friends and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted Neal and Daisy Olinger Hall; infant sister, Brenda Gail Hall; baby sister, Mickey Kay Hall; brothers, Preston Hall and Ronnie Hall; and sister, Charlotte Hall. Teddy is survived by his wife, Trina Simons Hall of Marion, Va.; daughters, April Hall Burks and husband, David of Bristol, Va. and Haley Hall and fiancé, Johnathan Harmon of Marion, Va.; sons, Teddy Hall, Jr. of Chilhowie, Va. and Eric Hall and fiancée, Chasidy Harris of Marion, Va.; sister, Patsy Tibbs and husband, Gary of Rural Retreat, Va.; brothers, Roger Hall and wife, Marie of Chilhowie, Va. and Mike Hall of Marion, Va.; eight grandchildren, Jacob, Brayden, Taliyah, Alijah, Karmah, Camron, Kyrah and Chance; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 8 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Reverend Jimmy Frye and the Reverend Kevin Welch officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Mt.
