NATURAL BRIDGE, Va.: MARY MAE COLE PICKLE, age 88, died Monday, February 13, 2017 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, Va. She was born May 13, 1928 in Smyth County to the late Earl and Ollie Thompson Cole. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Wade P. Pickle; daughter, Reba Bales and sisters, Lola Wymer and Earlie Hash. Mary is survived by her son, Richard “Dickie” Pickle and wife, Wanda of Natural Bridge, Va.; grandchildren, Eddie Bales, Jason Bales, Jennifer Sturgill and Charles Pickle; great-grandchildren, Kristen Bales, Sarah Bales, Daisy Sturgill, and Summer Patterson; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor Derryl LaFave officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion, Va.
