Imogene McGhee Copenhaver, age 91, passed away Monday, October 25, 2021 at Wythe County Community Hospital.
Imogene was a strong, independent woman who was good to her core. She was born into the depression era, but was raised in the richness of family and love. The last of eight siblings – strong brothers and sisters, a loving nurturing mother, grandmother, and friend – Imogene will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Lula May McGhee; four sisters, Katherine Repass, Martha Minter, Geraldine McGhee and Elizabeth Cassell; three brothers, Paul McGhee, Jr., Reed McGhee and Neal McGhee.
